It has recently premiered directly on the OTT platform ‘ETV Win.’ How is this film? Did it manage to captivate the OTT audience? Let’s find out in this review.

Plot
The story is set in the year 2008. Prasad (Shanmukh Jaswanth) is a college student who falls in love with his classmate, Leela (Anagha Ajith). However, he hesitates to express his feelings to her. After college ends, the two exchange phone numbers and begin chatting daily. Eventually, with the help of his friend Rajesh (Mirchi Saran), Prasad confesses his love to Leela. However, Leela becomes silent and stops(Leela Vinodham Review) responding. From that moment, Prasad doesn’t receive any messages or calls from her. Why did Leela stop replying? What did Prasad do next? Did his love succeed or not? That’s the story.
Performances
Popular YouTuber Shanmukh Jaswanth impresses in this film. He perfectly fits into the role of Prasad, a young man struggling to express his love. His expressions in the romantic scenes are sure to connect with the youth. He beautifully portrays the hesitation typical of boys in 2008 when dealing with love. Anagha Ajith also earns good marks for her performance, mesmerizing with her cute expressions. Together, their pairing brings a fresh feeling to the screen. Mirchi Saran and Prasad Behara, who played the friends, entertain with their comedy timing. The remaining cast performed within their scope.

Direction
Director Pawan Sunkara crafts this film as a clean, village-based love story. He effectively stages the scenes to connect with middle-aged viewers, particularly those above 30, who may reminisce about their teenage years. The film beautifully showcases the challenges young people face while expressing love. The chatting scenes are well-executed, and the comedy drawn from Mirchi Saran and Prasad Behara’s characters adds humor. However, the routine story and lack of engaging narration (Leela Vinodham Review)work against the film. At times, the pacing slows, giving a dragged feeling. Emotional scenes could have been better executed. Despite having seasoned actors like Aamani, Goparaju Ramana, and Roopalakshmi, their roles lack significance.
Technical Aspects
On the technical front, the cinematography by Anush Kumar is impressive. He skillfully captures the village atmosphere, giving the visuals a fresh feel. T.R. Krishna Chetan’s music is pleasing, with his background score adding a pleasant vibe to the scenes. The editor could have tightened the film further for a better impact. Production values are decent.
